Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream is a 1995 American documentary film directed by Michael Tollin.  In this documentary, stock footage, interviews and reenactments are used to tell the story of Hank Aaron, the black Major League Baseball star who broke Babe Ruth’s longstanding record for most career home runs. Sports legends Barry Bonds and Ken Griffey Jr. describe how Aaron’s achievement inspired their own successes, and those who played with and against the slugger offer firsthand accounts of his talents. Aaron also sits down to discuss his career and civil rights activism.
